UK: Widespread Flooding Hits Greater Manchester Forcing Hundreds To Evacuate 5

Heavy rain caused severe flooding across Greater Manchester on New Year's Day forcing at least 13,000 people to evacuate. Emergency services declared a major incident.

US: Quarry Fire Continues To Burn In Jefferson County, Colorado

The Quarry Fire has burned more than 480 acres in Jefferson County southwest of Denver as of Saturday, August 3. Hundreds of homes around the area are under evacuation orders.
